Richey Tally

–Bass–

Richey was discovered in the Australian outback. Having no criminal record, he was deemed unfit for society in Australia and was deported to Ghana. A group of missionaries found him and raised him. That’s where he saw his first double bass. His teachers would play string quartet music for the children and he would meticulously watch their bassist. At night he would sneak into the music room and practice bass until it was time for everyone to wake up. He knew that he wanted to be a musician when he grew up. But after school, he had to make a living and found a gig as dictator for a small African country. The money and power were good, but it never matched the joy of playing bass. Luckily for him, his regime was overthrown after six months, and he swiftly escaped to Boston. There he met Joel at the local wig store and was happy to find out that he could fulfill his life’s dream and play bass for the SSO.
